PRINCES…Dennis Boatman, Joey Borges, Ryan Peri, Garrett Shurtz

PRINCESSES…Megan Canchola, Neeve Chen, Junel Dekker, Jenna Robertson

What is your favorite memory from your time here at Woodcreek?

Dennis: Winning the doughnut eating contest at the 2017 Fall Sports Rally.

Joey: The Aurora Basketball Game last year. It was surprisingly the first basketball game I went to, and it was one of the most spirited events I’ve been to in all of high school. I loved how spirited and crazy the mob was, and especially when the cheerleaders surprised us with the Circle of Death. One of my favorite memories at the school.

Ryan: My favorite memory would be all the memories from getting to be a part of the cross country team and MEET so many great people and push myself to achieve my athletic goals at the same time.

Garrett: Our basketball team taking us to the State Championship Game at Golden 1 Center and helping lead the biggest Black Mob the school has ever seen.

Megan: Being a part of the musical Once on This Island and going to the State Basketball Game and being a part of the black mob!!

Neeve: My favorite memory is going to Santa’s Helpers and watching all the kids’ eyes light up when they opened their presents.

Junel: My favorite memory here would have been sneaking in a ton of pink powder to distribute for our pink game or all the sprit days.

Jenna: My favorite memory at Woodcreek was last year’s basketball game (and win) at Santa Clara. Being a part of our Black Mob is the most awesome feeling ever.

What are some of your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?

Dennis:  When I’m not playing baseball, I enjoy playing “Through the Fire” and “Flames” on expert on Guitar Hero 3.

Joey: One of my hobbies is that I run track and have since sixth grade. Although I am not a star athlete, it’s something I have grown to love and chosen to dedicate myself to. I also enjoy doodling and writing to satisfy my artistic side. My biggest and most notorious hobbies is drinking coffee and going to coffee shops; I may have a problem, but I will continue to deny it.

Ryan: I juggle a few different things in my spare time such as running, juggling, and making memories with my friends!

Garrett: I love the game of baseball and enjoy the outdoors, such as fishing, camping, hiking. I truly cherish good friendships and the good times I share with my fellow classmates.

Megan: I love to sing and play guitar and ukulele. I also love spending time with my amazing friends and family. I also run a youtube account and do community theatre.

Neeve: In my spare time I like to bake, play the piano, and draw.

Junel: Play sports, bake, spend time with my friends/family.

Jenna: I love spending my time skiing, boating, going to church, and being with friends and family.

What is your dream college?

Dennis: I will be attending UCLA to play baseball.

Joey: UCLA or UC Irvine

Ryan: I don’t really have one, but I have considered the University of Oregon.

Garrett: University of Nevada Reno

Megan: UC Santa Barbara

Neeve: Washington University in St. Louis

Junel: Chamberlain Accelerated Nursing School

Jenna: UCLA

What do you plan on studying in college?

Dennis: Kinesiology

What do you want to accomplish after high school?

Joey: After high school, I want to ultimately become a licensed forensic psychiatrist.

Ryan: I’d like to earn an engineering degree from a university, start a career, and run a marathon.

Garrett: Continue my career in baseball and ride it as long as I can. I’m excited to see what the world outside of high school has to offer for me and to find what I’m truly passionate about.

Megan: I want to get into a great school and find a career that I’m passionate about in order to make positive change in the world!

Neeve: After high school, I want to attend a 4 year college to major in biomedical engineering with a focus in biomechanics. If I still love school at that point, I would like to go to medical school.

Junel: Go to school to become a nurse and excel in my future classes and later enjoy life to the fullest.

Jenna: After high school, I would like to get my undergraduate degree and then go on to grad school, studying and pursuing my passion to make the world a better and healthier place.

Where do you imagine yourself in 10 years?

Dennis: Starting an amazing family and happily living my life to its fullest potential.

Joey: In ten years, I imagine myself working hard in my forensic psychiatry residency, and hopefully I will have bought a house and begun my life with a husband.

Ryan: I’d like to have a well-paying steady career and a comfortable life; but whatever happens, I want to live life to its fullest capacity and be happy in anything I may do.

Garrett: Loving life.

Megan: I imagine myself with my masters degree and a fun job. Hopefully i’ll be traveling all over the world with the love of my life and kiddos.

Junel: Happily married, traveling the world and after, having a happy family.

Jenna: In 10 years I want to be abroad, traveling the world, working on my Ph.D, starting an awesome family, and choosing to be joyful every day.
