Woodcreek basketball is getting ready to end the first half of league play with their traditional Aurora game against Nevada Union.

Woodcreek is going into this game with a 4-1 record, recently losing to section champs Folsom Bulldogs, a nail biting game until Woodcreek was simply out coached .

Nevada Union is currently 1-4 in league play, only by beating Granite Bay who WHS has also beaten.

Nevada Union is coming off a recent 20 point loss to Rocklin. Woodcreek has also played Rocklin defeating them 89-78. Not only was Woodcreek able to come out on top of Rocklin, but they managed to score 89 points on Rocklin while Nevada Union only scored 62 points.

In league, WHS  is averaging 68 points per game while Nevada Union averaging 51 points per game. Woodcreek has an average points allowed of 61, while Nevada Union has an average of 64 points. Nevada Union has yet to come off a loss with a win right away, while Woodcreek has only lost two games in a row once, which was in preseason.

The odds are not in Nevada Unions hands. This should be an easy win for the Woodcreek Timberwolves, and a great start to their Aurora weekend.
