A movie theatre haven recently opened in Rocklin, Studio Movie Grill. From the moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed with a feeling of comfort and luxury. Even the waiting area had cozy seats, but little did I know, it was about to get so much better.

Once in the theatre itself, my jaw dropped. There was rows of big, plush seats with movable trays to place your food on. The chairs make one feel as comfortable as you would be at home, maybe even more so.

The menu ranges from pasta and pizza to burgers and chicken. They even have a wide selection of desserts. If you are at the theatre with a friend, try the 2 for $25 option. This includes an appetizer, two entrees and has an option of adding one of their desserts for an additional $5. I opted for the pretzel bites and crispy tenders, both of which were good, but not jaw droppers. My friend and I ended up splitting the brownie sundae for dessert, which was the highlight of my meal and definitely worth a try.

The service could be slow at times, but that’s hardly noticeable when you’re engrossed in the movie they’re playing. Dinner with your movie is definitely a game changer for movie theatres. Instead of dinner and a movie with your date, why not try dinner with a movie?

Studio Movie Grill is the most unique movie theatre I have ever been to, and is definitely worth checking out.
