On the morning of February 23rd, icy car windows drove up into the school’s parking lot, with students secluded inside wrapped in the warmth of their car’s heaters. Students entering the quad witnessed the crystallized frosty grass as product of the dramatic cold temperatures. Staff and students breath became a cloud of heat wasted into the frozen air. Fingertips and cheeks became bright red with each minute people were unconcealed from the snow weather. Roseville experienced its record low temperatures of 30 F. This unfortunately would be the closest Woodcreek student would ever get of a snow day. School was still in session as the students hurried closely knitted to the sanctuary of our classroom. Hopefully in the future, student will be more prepared and ready when facing such snow days in Roseville.
